Futures and fair values are looking for a slightly lower open this morning. Investor’s are looking to be a bit tentative as the current earnings season gets ready to get under way. There are a couple of big names putting up earnings this week, the most notable being Alcoa Inc. (NYSE: AA) which will officially kick off earnings Tuesday following the market close.
Another thing we like to watch here is oil prices. So far today oil prices have been able to stay above $80 a barrel, but have fallen 63 cents to $80.59.
The biggest name reporting earnings today will be YUM Brands Inc. (NYSE: YUM) which reports its third quarter earnings tonight following the market close
